A consistently popular performer on both sides of the Atlantic, Jean Carne has enjoyed a career full of accomplishment - from recording with (ex-husband) Doug Carn, performing with Duke Ellington and working with Norman Connors through to a legacy of recordings for Philadelphia International, Motown and others. She shares with David Nathan (who did his first interview with Jean in 1977) seven tracks from her own catalog and three by others.
