Brother of Billy Butler.
Primarily known as member of Impressions, The.
His career is really huge, starting in 1958.
Long time associate of Curtis Mayfield.
Has co-written Otis Redding's "I've Been Loving You Too Long".
Has dueted with Betty Everett, Brenda Lee Eager, Thelma Houston and Gene Chandler.
Has collaborated with Exuma and Jerry Peters for the blaxloitation soundtracks, "Joe" and "Melinda" respectively.
He's also an american politician. He serves Commissioner for Cook County, Illinois, having first been elected in 1985.
