Soul - disco vocal quintet
Formed in 1963, Washington, DC, U.S.
They gained popularity for their refined harmony vocals as well as the fact that lead vocalist Tony Washington was openly gay and performed quite often in drag.
Released four albums, mid-70's at Motown.
Their biggest hit is the romantic sweet soul ballad "Shoe Shoe Shine".
In 1980 they released their last album, "The Sky's The Limit" at [l11219
