Worked for [l1723 from 1959 to 1972 with the top selling acts of the roster like Supremes, The, Smokey Robinson etc.
He also cut some singles in the early 60's as a duo with Jackey Beavers.
He then started working for [l3072.
In 1974 he started his solo career with the notorious smash "Hang On In There Baby".
He released six solo albums from 1974 to 1983.
He last charting single was "My Girl / My Guy" his 1980 duet with Amii Stewart.
